About the Design
The happi coat has been loved in Japan since the Edo period and has traditionally been worn by artisans and during festivals. IKI updates this classic haori-style form for modern life by combining traditional Japanese silhouettes with contemporary fabric technology and street culture.
The pants are inspired by samue, traditional Japanese workwear known for its comfort and relaxed shape. Together, the jacket and pants create a setup that feels both rooted in Japanese culture and natural in everyday wear.

Your order will be produced and prepared after the pre-order period closes. Because this is a limited pre-order item, cancellations and returns are not accepted after purchase, except in the case of defective items.

If you receive a defective item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue.

Can you ship to my country?
At this time, we are able to ship to Japan, the United States, and Canada.
We currently do not accept orders from countries or regions outside the United States and Canada. If an order is placed from outside these areas, we may need to cancel and refund the order.
When will the pre-order be open?
Pre-orders will be open from July 6, 2026 to August 31, 2026.
After the pre-order period closes, we will begin preparing production and international shipping.
When will my order be shipped?
We currently plan to start shipping from October 2026 onward.
Please note that this schedule is an estimate and may change depending on production progress, customs procedures, carrier availability, or global shipping conditions.
Are shipping fees, import duties, and taxes included in the product price?
Shipping fees, import duties, taxes, customs fees, and any other charges related to international delivery are the responsibility of the customer.
For this pre-order, applicable shipping fees, import duties, and taxes will be calculated and collected in advance at checkout where applicable.
These fees are not included in the product price unless clearly stated.
What is DDP shipping?
DDP means Delivered Duty Paid.
We plan to ship using a DDP shipping method where possible. Under this shipping method, applicable import duties and taxes are collected from the customer in advance at checkout and paid through our shipping process to our logistics partner.
In principle, customers should not need to pay import duties or taxes again upon delivery if the shipment is processed correctly as DDP.
Can shipping be delayed?
Yes. Because this is an international pre-order, production and shipping schedules may change.
Shipping may be delayed due to customs procedures, carrier delays, changes in international shipping conditions, natural disasters, political situations, changes in customs regulations, or other unforeseen circumstances.
If shipping becomes impossible before dispatch due to circumstances outside of our control, we will cancel and refund the affected order.

We are not responsible for delays, failed delivery, return shipping fees, or additional costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.

After reviewing the information, we will offer an appropriate solution, such as repair, replacement, partial refund, or refund.
Because international return shipping can be very costly, please do not send the item back without contacting us first.
Which shipping carrier will you use?
For this pre-order, we plan to ship orders to the United States and Canada using OCS or another trusted international logistics partner.
OCS is an international logistics company and a member of the ANA Group.
