About the Design
Kaga Yuzen is a traditional dyeing culture from Kanazawa, Japan, known for its refined use of color and elegant depictions of nature. IKI reinterprets this aesthetic for modern life, bringing a sense of Japanese beauty into a more relaxed and wearable form.
The happi coat has been loved in Japan since the Edo period and has traditionally been worn by artisans and during festivals. In this piece, IKI updates that classic haori-style form through a modern silhouette and Kaga Yuzen-inspired design.
The pants are inspired by samue, a form of traditional Japanese workwear appreciated for its comfort and freedom of movement. By using COOL DOTS™, the pants offer a more functional and contemporary wearing experience.
This is not formal kimono or ceremonial wear. It is a modern Japanese setup designed to be worn freely in daily life.

Can you ship to my country?
At this time, we are able to ship to Japan, the United States, and Canada.
We currently do not accept orders from countries or regions outside the United States and Canada. If an order is placed from outside these areas, we may need to cancel and refund the order.
When will the pre-order be open?
Pre-orders will be open from July 6, 2026 to July 31, 2026.
After the pre-order period closes, we will begin preparing production and international shipping.
When will my order be shipped?
We currently plan to start shipping from October 2026 onward.

Are shipping fees, import duties, and taxes included in the product price?
Shipping fees, import duties, taxes, customs fees, and any other charges related to international delivery are the responsibility of the customer.
For this pre-order, applicable shipping fees, import duties, and taxes will be calculated and collected in advance at checkout where applicable.
These fees are not included in the product price unless clearly stated.
What is DDP shipping?
DDP means Delivered Duty Paid.
We plan to ship using a DDP shipping method where possible. Under this shipping method, applicable import duties and taxes are collected from the customer in advance at checkout and paid through our shipping process to our logistics partner.
In principle, customers should not need to pay import duties or taxes again upon delivery if the shipment is processed correctly as DDP.
Can shipping be delayed?
Yes. Because this is an international pre-order, production and shipping schedules may change.
Shipping may be delayed due to customs procedures, carrier delays, changes in international shipping conditions, natural disasters, political situations, changes in customs regulations, or other unforeseen circumstances.
If shipping becomes impossible before dispatch due to circumstances outside of our control, we will cancel and refund the affected order.

Because international return shipping can be very costly, please do not send the item back without contacting us first.
